ourwines

All the work we do in the vineyard has one aim - to produce great natural wines that express our terroir.

Our bottled wines currently available are:

Clos Gabriel 2006 : a blend of 63% carignan, 28% syrah and 9% grenache. With a low average yield of 11hectolitres/hectare, this wine is naturally intense and complex with a dark purple colour. The nose expresses aromas of blackcurrant and violet. The wine is round, full bodied and fruity in the mouth with a long finish. The wine is ready to drink now but will certainly age well. Bottled on 12 August 2008 (by gravity) the wine has not been filtered.

It should be opened and allowed to breathe for at least an hour before drinking, and is best served at a temperature of 16 -18° C.

Clos des Lièvres 2007 : a blend of syrah (60%) with grenache and carignan. Matured for 14 months in 500L oak barrels, it has a complex range of aromas including blackcurrant, mocha, cigar tobacco and white pepper. Concentrated fruit in the mouth, well-structured, with elegant tanins and a long finish. It will continue to age well for 6 to 8 years.
13€/bottle or 75€/case

Les Trois Terrasses 2008: 100% carignan noir, this wine is produced from our old (40-60 years), naturally low-yielding carignan vines. The wine was vinified and aged in a concrete tank.

Expressing aromas of blackberries and black olive tapenade, the wine has good depth of flavour with hedgerow berries and savoury notes; well balanced and supple with a fresh finish. A good match with duck breasts, tender lamb dishes and rabbit.
